Summary: Very decent reception on the receiver. The stereo came with two speaker hookup cable assemblies but no power cable assembly. An email to the company and they had a new power cable to me in three days. My only criticism is that there isn't any way to advance the radio station by station easily.
Summary: I bought this unit for my wife's Suzuki Grand Vitara to replace another after market unit that never worked well. This was very easy to install and set up and she is very happy with the results. Have not used the USB, aux imput, or SD card reader as of yet.
Pros: Easy to use and install, pairs easily with phone
Summary: Everything is great about this system. My only complaint is I have to constantly re-eq the sound. It forgets what you have it set to. Get off the phone, eq the sound again. Change CD, eq some more.
Pros: Great sound. Good controls
Cons: Eq settings turn of when you change a cd or take a phone call. The settings are not saved. And I find the track skip knob to be annoying.
Summary: A basic, no frills double-DIN head unit that appears to be well constructed and is fairly easy to use. For the price, it's hard to expect a lot of bells and whistles. This HU works fine, sounds pretty good and is a low cost of entry.
Pros: Price, detachable face, looks stock (a "pro" in this case), contrast on screen is excellent - even in full sun. Sound quality is surprisingly decent - I do appreciate a few more watts per channel versus stock HU and can tell the difference.
Cons: No color options or dimming on backlights (it just glows bright blue). Wish there was a tad more functionality with SD card (menus are somewhat cumbersome to navigate). Knobs are a little small, especially to turn (which is required for accessing albums or adjusting the volume).
Summary: Crutchfield's support made it easy to install myself in our 2004 Expedition. The best deal I could find for an installed unit was $200 more for a lesser quality receiver. As a first time installer, I was worried about missing mounting hardware, modifications to the dash, wiring harnesses that didn't...
