Summary: Great alpine double din radio. Has many settings to change on the EQ to tune to your liking. IPod support to control your iPod from the radio, this is my go to music. Phone calls come in great and others can hear you clear.
Summary: Very nice unit, glad that I found it. It went into my 2008 Toyota Tacoma truck via the scosche dash kit. The fit is pretty good. The unit itself has bolt holes that matched the stock radio support plates (3 of the 4 bolts fit per side), so the mounting went very solid. I also got the scosche toyota wiring harness so that I dont have to cut and chase wires to connect the unit onto the truck wiring harness.
Summary: I bought this unit because it is essentially the double DIN version of the CDE-143BT that I bought for one of my other cars. My thought was that I wouldn't have to learn another interface by installing this unit. While this is a very good item, I'm ranking it lower based on my experience with the 143BT, single din unit.
Other than that this is a great deck Good sound and lots of set up options

Summary: Do your research before doing your own install on 1999 or newer vehicles. With today's advances in automotive technology you will need the correct Wiring harness and interface module. Other than that this is a great deck Good sound and lots of set up options. And you can DIYS.
Summary: Great stereo head unit. I bought it to replace my old Alpine because it had hands free calling. Really good quality hands free and setup was really easy. I would definitely recommend this to a friend.
Summary: I installed this radio about a 2 months ago. So far no real issues with it, it performes as expected. I have far better reception than the factory radio. This along with new speakers have made a HUGE improvment in soung quality. My only real issue is with the display brightness. It is to bright and it has a manual brightness option, however you can not adjust it.
The blue lighting, however, is too bright and would have been a deal breaker had I known.

Summary: Having used Alpine products before I am used to their excellent quality. My wife uses the phone during her commute home but keeps going through Bluetooth headsets. I have for sometime been aware of head units that have the built-in Bluetooth option. And so my research began... the car, a 2002 Hyundai Elantra, allowed the option of a double DIN install, so through a process of elimination I ended up selecting this unit. A larger display was one of the plusses in my book.
