Summary: I've had this player for about 6 months now. My very first CDs player was an Alpine back in 1996. I have used every other major brand out there at one time or another and I can honestly say I like Alpine the most. I have it hooked up on a 2001 Eclipse.
Excellent sound, plenty of features & expandability.

Summary: Needed to upgrade the head unit in my Jaguar to play up-to-date input sources, so I needed an Alpine to match form factor and connections. This one went in with no problems and sounds noticeably better with the existing speakers.
Summary: I have always loved Alpine, but this headunit blows all others away. When compared to all other button, not touch screen, units this one is top of the line. I was hesitant because of the price, but I needed the outputs on the back. You for sure get what you pay for. The 4 volt outputs are amazing.
great HU, despite the market is evolving strangely

Summary: i had an alpine cde-9852 head unit since i bought my car in 2006. lining-in an ipod was as critical for me back then as it is now. once the primary select button on that ceased to work, i thought "ok...i guess it's time to buy this year's model. no problem.
Summary: I recently bought this head unit to replace my old head unit and I was really surprised at how much better the sound quality got. It has the option to include subwoofers and gives you the option on how high or low to set them. It plays off USB, youtube on your iphone, etc.
Summary: This deck has everything your would ever need for an amature and or even competition sound (4volt). This gives the rear, front and sub outs. The controls on the face of the deck are user friendly, though the manual needs a over-hual, its pretty simple to find anything you need.
