Summary: Hi i have bought this sony cassette player...about a couple of months ago it was good for some days ...but after a month it started making noise while playing the music and this irritates me and very frustated to buy such false product. don't waste your money not worth! hope i get my money back by returning this :(...
Summary: This product is not worth the cost of postage. Not since I bought a $3 Japanese radio in my youth (I'm 65yo) have I been treated to a product of such poor quality. Tin can vibrations, bottom of a barrel tone, and simply terrible sound production (iPod Classic on Bose audio equip). You could get better music if you coaxed your dog into singing your favorite music. This Ph.D.'s advice, pass over this product and never look back.
Summary: I give this product a "coke test" endorsement. By that I mean a conclusion that it's any awesome-r than other available less expensive cassette options is probably based at least in part on the fact that it's pricier, and falls under a better name. Most people can't tell a Coke from a Pepsi from a Walmart generic-drano ethics abomination -- unless, of course, they're labeled.
Summary: When I first received the product, I was very happy with the sound quality of my music. However, only the third time I tried to use it, almost every single lyric was drowned out by static. I was very disappointed as I had seen many good reviews. I'll be taking my business elsewhere.
Summary: I've had this exact cassette adapter for 10 years, originally used it in my mother's car with my portable cd player then used it in my own car when mp3 players came out. It's been sitting in my tape player 24/7 in the hot south Florida weather for the past 6 or 7 years and finally started having minor issues this year (the audio would only play through one side of my speakers and I would have to twist the jack to get the audio to play through both sides).
Summary: This works well in my 1991 Acura Legend with original Bose sound system. Tried a Belkin which sounded very poor (like the speakers were under water) in two different tape systems. Bought this one because of the other high reviews. I'm not disappointed.
Summary: Easily far superior to any of the much more expensive adaptors you can find. Very little or no background noise depending on your application. Made integrating my phone with my car's obnoxious, non-replaceable radio system a breeze.
