LOOKS

Rick W, Crutchfield
23 January 2013
  • Summary: I think it ties the whole package together. Just make sure the grill goes all the way into the sub location. Won't work if your sub is sunk into the box face, unless it clears the whole outter edge of the grille.
  • Pros: Looks
  • Cons: Im going to make a flush mounted sub box. To fit the location.

pioneer sub grilles

LH, Crutchfield
23 July 2012
  • Summary: The speaker griles are great. Crutchfield has any and everything you need for car audio, even the hard to find items that other places don't bother to stock. Fast and free shipping is also a plus.
  • Pros: Great fit and looks cool too.
  • Cons: none

Ok Product

WRW from Toronto, ON, Canada, Sonic Electronix
28 May 2012
  • Conclusion: Nice product fit perfectly on the product they are meant for. Scratch very easily so they won't be lookin new for very long after you purchase them if you load things in your trunk however they do protect the speakers ok for the most part, but not from pole like objects.

Stylish

Robert from Lakeland, FL, Sonic Electronix

  • Conclusion: The grille looks very cool especially on the woofer itself. The only problem with it is that it scratches easily, so be careful. The grille also adds a little to the diameter, ~14 inches, a note for people making baffles.

Stylish look...!

Carlos Campo from Cali - Valle, Colombia, Sonic Electronix
5 May 2011
  • Conclusion: It is good to give some protection to your sub, so I recommend the grill offered by the same brand. In this case Pioneer. It looks more aggressive and attractive. Also gives protection. Your choice.... but do not forget protect your investment.

Nice grille, if it fits

Jason, Crutchfield
5 January 2011
  • Summary: I had purchased this grille thinking it would fit my new Pioneer TS-W309D2 sub. It does not. The build is very nice and seems sturdy, but the screw spacing is a little off. It could just be an issue with my sub and not all. I really liked the way it looked and the ample protection it would offer.
  • Pros: Style, protection
  • Cons: Will not fit TS-W309D2
