  • Summary: Really Good sound quality, easy to install, easy to use. You can set the stereo to control the ipod, and everything you normally do in the ipod, you can do in the unit. One only problem: With the ipod touch generation 2, the cable is not able to charge the batteries.
  • Pros: Good sound quality and easy to use
  • Cons: Does not charge ipod touch generation 2

  • Summary: Bought this for my Pioneer DEH-P47DH. It is NOT compatible with this model. The connector is the wrong size and shape. I can't tell you how well it works because of it.

  • Summary: Bought this for a pioneer avhp4000dvd. The CD-I200 was easy to install, all you have to do is plug it into the back of a Car Stereo. The cord charges the Ipod up and allows the pioneer stereo to play anything including videos.
  • Pros: Easy to Install, Strong Wiring.
  • Cons: None

  • Summary: Pioneer CD-i200 iPod Control Interface allows the Pioneer head unit to control and play the iPod through the cars speakers without the issues common with FM transmitters (i.e. interference, poor sound quality)
  • Pros: I used this to replace a damaged iPod cable. It was a new genuine Pioneer cable in the correct package.
  • Cons: none

Pioneer Ipod Interface

  • Summary: This is a vast improvement over other models (such as the Clarion or Kenwood versions) that only allow you have control over 10 playlists or a finite number of songs. The response time on the head unit is a little slow when you're trying to move quickly through the Ipod, but that's to be expected...
  • Pros: Cheaper than other brands, effective, clean interface
  • Cons: None noted thus far.
