Summary: Video and audio work using the iPhone 3GS and a DNX7120. The Kenwood website does not list this as a supported combination, but it worked. The interface is also much faster and easier to use than a DVD loaded with MP3's. If you have an iPod/iPhone and a Kenwood receiver, you have to get this cable!
Summary: I tried to purchase a similar 30 pin to USB/3.5mm from monoprice.com and seeing as they were out relegated myself to purchasing this one instead. It's a good cable although I use it to run audio from my iPhone to my aux-in head unit and power it via a USB charger. It works well for this, but two gripes; one is that the cable is still bent where it was in the packaging which is unsightly, and two it shows a warning when plugging in that the accessory wasn't made for an...
Summary: This is not a real kenwood KCA-ip300V ipod cable. it is a knock off and will not work with your radio.i bought one it did not work i contacted kenwood and they said if it was a kenwood product it would say kenwood on the juction box and it does not.if you are looking for this cable contact kenwood for a kenwood dealer. This is what i did and it works great.
Summary: Coonects highspeed to the dnx8120. Works good, video comes through fine. During video play the video does not automatically show unless you press the "photo" in the top left hand corner once the file is playing. This works with my iphone 3gs no problem. Only issue I have is when the phone is connected the head unit also connects the bluetooth wireless headphone connection which needs to be turned off in the settings>bluetooth menu everytime I turn on the car...
Summary: I bought this for my Kenwood DNX7120 NAV/Receiver. I was using a USB drive to with my receiver, but wanted to play my iTunes videos, so I purchased this and an iPod Nano (4th Gen). Works great! Just plug and play. I can now watch music videos, TV shows, movies, etc. in my car with ease. Also, it is much faster and does not hang like the USB input option on this receiver. Do a search online to learn how to make video playlists.
Conclusion: If your stereo has this option, get this! I dont even use cd's anymore. I ran this from my stereo to my glovebox, now my ipod is hidden and I have full control through my dnx7140. Music and video play flawlessly.
Conclusion: I Have not had the chance to hook the wires up I have been deployed but my wife said it's new and in good condition and it also got to my house at an reasonable time, so yes I will buy from this store again and recommend others to also check this store out.
Summary: Running a DNX8120 Receiver with a 120gb 6th Gen ipod classic. Length of use to date is about 6 weeks. Overall I would not be without the cable. It is a wonderful way to utilize the ipod, which stays discreetly in the glove box. I only remove it to synch with itunes. It also works fine with my 3g iphone, subject to the same limitations discussed below. For $30 it's a "no-brainer." However, there is room for improvement.
Summary: I'm not sure if it's the cable or my ipod but for some reason I cant play any of my videos to my Kenwood sterio system. I have updated everything but still no video so I'm giving this 4 stars, other than that it works pretty good.
