Love it!

  • Conclusion: This thing is great. It's compact and easy to get to. Much easier than trying to adjust knobs on the amp. I love how you can adjust the voltage up to 9 volts. Makes MUCH more clear and tighter bass and i also noticed that it's louder. The bass EQ is accurate. Sturdy casing and connections. Great buy. The remote that came with it went out so i had to send the whole unit back and have it replaced. Thats why i gave a 3 for durability. Other than that this unit is great.

MX-3 Great for all type of music

D from Las Cruces , NM, Sonic Electronix
7 February 2012
  • Conclusion: I purchased the MX-3 because my HU did not have enough voltage to supply my amplifier. I did have strange noises at first. Thought it was a ground/power problem. After doing upgrades and making sure those were good the problem got worse i thought the unit was defective so i turned it down just a hair and noiced that the strange noises went away. After adjusting and adjusting all the strange noises finally went away and my system sounds great.

Pretty good minus 1 thing

Alexander from San diego, Sonic Electronix
14 August 2011
  • Conclusion: Love the way you can tune the sound to how you want it but. For some reason I would get random noises that was not on the song when it was hooked up. Not engine noise but almost like it was making its own random low notes.

Very satisfied!

Jason from Old Lyme, CT, Sonic Electronix

  • Conclusion: My amplifier lost its ability to adjust gains and frequency response range. I thought i was going to have to replace a very expensive out of warranty amplifier, but I knew if I turned the outputs all the way up on the radio, I still got some good sound. I just didn't want do drive the radio that hard, so it made me think of this! Perfect solution, the amplifier still works great, and this drives a great, clear and clean signal to my amp.
