Summary: I recently sold my old Ford F-150 and replaced it with a Ford Ranger Supercab. I had upgraded the rear speakers in the F-150 with a pair of RF Punch P1683 3-way speakers. I checked and saw they would fit the rear doors of the Ranger, but not the front doors. I gave Crutchfield a call and talked with Mike. He recommended I stick with the RF family to get the best sound match to the P1683's and recommended the RF Prime R168X2.
Pros: Great mids and highs. Good base for a small speaker.
Summary: I installed these in the rear of my f150, they were quick and easy to install after disassembling the door XD. i have a 12" rockford fosgate punch p3s installed in my truck, i had a local pro installer give me a quote to install these ( which was absurd $$) who told me these speakers wouldn't sound good with my sub....i took my speakers home installed these and the smaller version of the same speaker in the front and they sound awesome...
Summary: The speakers sound just normal. They do sound better than the stock speakers that came with the car. I don't have them hooked up to an amp at the moment. I will write another review after I get them hooked to the amp.
Summary: Great speakers. I bought these to replace my pioneer speakers, and they sound great. Clear treble, and pretty good bass. I would recommend these to anyone looking to replace stock speakers in their car.
Summary: Just installed these speakers in both the rear and front of my 2013 Mustang. Although anything other than those stock speakers will probably sound good, these sound Amazing! I'm very happy with my purchase and would recommend these speakers to anyone.
