16 March 2015
  • Conclusion: I purchased this component set to improve midbass performance over my Alpine SPS-510 coax speakers. Initially, I gave these component sets 55 watts rms to each side. • Summary: Sounds a lot better than stock. Not exactly what I thought they would be. When in turn the volume up high the voices sound distorted.
  • Pros: Easy to wire and install.
  • Cons: Not the best sound quality.

  • Summary: Speakers sound great in rear doors of my Mazda 6. They sound great in combo with the DB6501's in my front doors. Speakers were installed with an amp, there is more than enough power.
  • Pros: Great sound & price

  • Pros: Sounds great, awesome build

  • Summary: I bought these speakers while on sale and from the scratch and dent section. Worth the original price for sure! I do not have them amped yet, but will asap. BUY THEM!
  • Pros: Smooth sound, great tweeters, good looking.
  • Cons: Not very loud if not amped (even with aftermarket HU)

Polk Audio db5251

CCajun, Crutchfield

  • Summary: This is the second vehicle I've installed these speakers into. Very easy to install and sound outstanding compared to factory speakers. With a good amp and bass speaker these are all the speakers you'll need, short of turning your auto into a $50,000 sound studio,
  • Pros: Easy install and good sound
  • Cons: Instructions with the speakers are a waste. If you don't know how to swap speakers, the included instructions will not help.
