  • Conclusion: I would recommend these speakers for a simple replacment install. Had good sound quality and I haven't even sound deadened the doors yet... Pioneer always has had a good fit and sound for under $100.00!

Great mid-range

D.M. from Pennsylvania, Sonic Electronix
17 September 2013
  • Conclusion: Needed something to replace my dry-rotted 20 year old speakers in a Subaru Legacy. High-passed at 100hz 12db/o, on about 50 watts. Midrange is superb for a budget coaxial, very clear and detailed. Tweeters are harsh, and get very fatiguing at loud volume.

Review of Pioneer TS-D1302R

JS, Crutchfield
5 March 2013
  • Summary: Excellent product, really enhanced the sound on my Jeep Wrangler.
  • Pros: Easy to install. Excellent sound. Clear and crisp sound.
  • Cons: Didn't really need the spacers included and the speaker covers wouldn't work at all. Instructions were so-so, but it was pretty basic, so figuring it out wasn't hard.

Great Speaker and Great Price

Jack from Abita Springs, LA, Sonic Electronix
31 December 2012
  • Conclusion: I needed to add some more backseat audio to my 2013 BRZ and these speakers matched the sound performance of the unusually high quality factory speakers provided by Lexus in both appearance and performance.

Top-down touring in a 2-seat Italian sports car.

Anonymous, Crutchfield
8 December 2012
  • Summary: Bought these on the advice of a Crutchfield rep to replace the speakers in the rear shelf of an Alfa Romeo Spider along with installing a new Alpine CDE 143bt tuner to drive them. I have always appreciated the quality of Pioneer products and it turned out to be a good match for the Alpine unit.
  • Pros: Durable design, high quality, linear sound from a 5.25" co-axial speaker.
  • Cons: None noted.
