Not bad...better feed it more power than a H/U offers

  • Conclusion: These speakers sound great...once I added in a Alpine Power Pack. Just pure HeadUnit power starves these things and you get no low end. Post-Powerpack install, the full range speaker sounds full range. Since they are 4-way, they still pack a ton of high end and you may want to tweak down that end since it can get a little sharp to the ears with high-hat reproduction.

great speakers for their value

  • Conclusion: The difference from my stock speakers to these is night and day. These get twice as loud without running into the same distortion I was getting with my stock ones. Also if powered correctly and tuned right they actually do beat pretty good.

Theses babys crank!

  • Summary: I installed these speakers in my 97 Expeditions front doors. It has the words Premium Sound on the doors. Well I guess Premium means something totally different from 1997 to 2014. The sound from these Pioneers are so exceptional I bought a pair for the back doors. The original radio pumps theses speakers with no problem. The doors rattle. Sounds soooo good.
