Summary: Nice sound, good bass. I have a 95 corvette and I am limited to what speakers I can put in back. I have a Bose in my Avalanche with great bass and clear loud music. Want that in my vette. These 6X9 speakers are 75% there. They do start clipping the sound when stereo is cranked. But I don't think I can get more out of 6X9 speakers. They are quality speakers for the price though and pretty close to loud enough for me...
Pros: Good bass, clear sounds.
Cons: Music does clip when I crank stereo. But good quality for price...
Summary: These speakers (although no data available on my vehicle for depth) replaced all 4 6x9 that are in the doors of my Jeep Cherokee. They fit fine (had to make spacer in back) without cutting anything! They sounded much better than teh paper factory speakers they replaced - had them running off teh stock head unit and it was nice, although when cranked up they distorted a bit. I amped them with 50w RMS from 4 channel Alpine amp and they sound ridiculously clean and loud!
Pros: Drop right in fit. Clean loud power. Bass is strong - mids and highs are just right, not too harsh.
Cons: No cons except teh location of them low in my doors - thats jeeps fault though! Have Kicker 3.5 in dash and they are too bright - want teh mtx but not sure their version in 3.5 will fit
Summary: Awesome speakers for the money!! Sound great with any music, as long as you have your eq set accordingly. I have these speakers installed in a cooler, pushed with a Pioneer 400w amp. They hit like 10's and the vocals are spectacular!!
Summary: When you consider the cost vs performance of these speakers I could not be much more pleased. They were matched to a pair of TDX 6.5"s in the front doors. Collectively they were a huge leap forward versus the factory system speakers at those locations. The heft of these vs the factory speakers was like comparing an elephant to a parakeet.
