Solid 8" Sub

Scott from Salem, MA, Sonic Electronix
14 July 2014
  • Conclusion: I made the mistake of getting this for my sedan. Sounds good with the back seat down but this is really made for a hatchback, SUV, or truck. Not that great on the lows but the mids are great. Songs with lows that use to slam on my 2 12"s barley hit on this but that's the only downside.

This little sub ROCKS !!!

braaap from Deer Park, Tx, Sonic Electronix
2 March 2014
  • Conclusion: First off, this isn't a ground pounding hip-hop blasting sub.....it ain't no 15"er. What this sub does is provide a punchy bass that fills in the lows more than well in my Dodge Megacab. I rarely run my sub level at more than 3-4 and it sounds great when listening to metal, rockabilly and old school country through my JVC head unit (no other amps in my system). I am way more than pleased with this little sub.

Real Bang for a Buck

M.J, Crutchfield
1 January 2014
  • Summary: This is a very affordable option for a sub in any car. Compact and really packs a punch. Put it in my sons Chrysler and install was simple. Recommend using Crutchfields extra wire harness as quality of included harnesses was poor. Thought about even getting one for my sedan I was so impressed. Biggest challenge was getting power wire through my fire wall existing grommet. All down hill after that.
  • Pros: Price and performance.
  • Cons: Included MTX wire harnesses.

Great Little Sub

Danny, Crutchfield
27 December 2013
  • Summary: Purchased this 8" powered sub for my daughter's VW Beetle. Perfect little sub for a little car! Sub hits the lows pretty good! I didn't want something that shakes the car beside you but has enough bass to make my teenage daughter smile :-) The remote bass control is nice too, especially if you listen to several different genres of music. I also purchased an amplifier wiring kit which makes installation a breeze.
  • Pros: Simple form and function! Provides nice lows (at least in the small car I installed it in). Seems well built. Great price.

Crisp Clean Sound with Sharp Bass

Matt B, Crutchfield
21 December 2013
  • Summary: Crisp, clean sound right out of the box. Good solid bass, not gonna rattle your teeth, but perfect for a small/average size car/truck. Fit perfectly in the trunk area of my son's firebird, paired it with the JVC media player (Under $200 for both!)...great combo. Remember to order an Amp Wiring Kit, it is not included. Highly recommend.
  • Pros: Sound quality, very attractive, price, delivered in 3 days...for free!
  • Cons: Remember to order amp wiring kit.

boomin' bass

Cody from Colorado asaprings, Sonic Electronix
24 October 2013
  • Conclusion: So far I am very pleased with this unit. My install is in a 1999 explorer sport so no trunk. More than enough bass for a confined space. I would recommend this for a suv.
