Summary: Put 2 of these in my 2012 F-150 supercab. I figured with them being slim, they would be weak....HOLY CRAP!!! They pound hard!! I can't even turn the bass up all the way on my system. I am only running a 1000w kenwood amp and it handles it fine. It won't win any street competitions but they hit hard for everyday use.
Summary: I purchased a set of these and had them installed in a custom back seat box in my Chevy Silverado. Along with a Kenwood amp and head unit, these things slam so hard it feels like I am sitting in one of those wacky massage chairs.
Summary: I have this sub in my dodge ram quad cab and I couldnt be happier. This is the third sub and hopefully last one I'll put in my truck. This one hits harder than the others, can handle the wattage from my amp and should have been the first one I bought.
Summary: I put this speaker in my 2011 Ford F-150 super crew, under the rear seat in a closed box. I was expecting to have terrible bass because I have a truck... boy was I wrong! This speaker delivers deep bass with a minimal enclosure. I have only installed one, which is enough for me. The price point is especially low for the value. I have had it for about a year now, still sounds great.
Summary: Bought it as a replacement for an older model that finally seized up on me. I needed a very slim sub for a custom fiberglass box I built in the trunk that did not have much depth. Perfect fit, the color matched the interior carpet and it looks factory. Sound quality is great, but it all depends on the amp and the box as well. No issues so far.
Summary: I've had other shallow depth subs and this one wins hands down. Give them some serious juice and you won't be disappointed. I've had them under the rear seat of a Tundra and Dodge Ram and they make for a wonderful vibramassage seat.
