Summary: This Kenwood sub is AWESOME! I had a Rockford R2 shallow mount and I blew it with my alpine 900 watt amp. I still have the same amp wired to the Kenwood and it take the power really well. Granted I don't have the amp turned up all the way. But man does this sub hit!
Summary: Installed this is a shallow box in a 2010 Tundra, being push off a bridged pair on a Pioneer 4 channel map. It is getting about 250watts RMS. Have not had a sub-woofer in a vehicle since the early 2000's, but wanted some fill for the lower notes.
Summary: So loud... Make sure you get a universal base control if installing. I used a 800W Pioneer amp and the bass is too much! Great speaker. Louder than anything I have ever heard. Quality is unbelievable......
Summary: Put 2 of these in my 2012 F-150 supercab. I figured with them being slim, they would be weak....HOLY CRAP!!! They pound hard!! I can't even turn the bass up all the way on my system. I am only running a 1000w kenwood amp and it handles it fine.
Summary: I purchased a set of these and had them installed in a custom back seat box in my Chevy Silverado. Along with a Kenwood amp and head unit, these things slam so hard it feels like I am sitting in one of those wacky massage chairs.
Summary: I have this sub in my dodge ram quad cab and I couldnt be happier. This is the third sub and hopefully last one I'll put in my truck. This one hits harder than the others, can handle the wattage from my amp and should have been the first one I bought.
Summary: I put this speaker in my 2011 Ford F-150 super crew, under the rear seat in a closed box. I was expecting to have terrible bass because I have a truck... boy was I wrong! This speaker delivers deep bass with a minimal enclosure. I have only installed one, which is enough for me.
