Summary: Good entry level sub. Had a pair hooked up to a Kenwood Excellon 500-1 amp and they rocked! However when I upgraded to a Kenwood 9601 1000 watt amp I had to replace one. Other than that I would recommend this sub to any one.
Summary: These speakers are excellent. I got a pair of them with a box to match and my BMW sounds excellent. I also got an Kenwood amp and the sound is off the hook, get you the Kenwood set ASAP and you will be happy like me...
Rock on! Awesome subwoofer, the price justifies buying without a doubt.

Summary: This subwoofer is an amazing deal! I have it in an old beatup 1.5 Cu. Ft sealed box powered by a MTX Thunder Pro 282 (280w x 1 @ 4 ohm RMS) with no capacitor, 30amp inline ATM fuse, two 12ga stranded wires ran together as one since I didn't have any 8ga wire laying around.
Summary: i love these subs, [i have 2 3013ps] but i didnt recieve these subs i receive the upgraded excelon ones... can't complain, would've liked matching... 3013s are the best subs for the money, hands down and i've torture tested them...
Awesome! Just awesome...what else can I say....Very happy to own this sub.

Summary: Bought this as a simple add on for my vehicle to give it some bass but found it to be much more boom than expected. Very pleasantly surprised at how well this subwoofer performs & it's not even the top of the line kenwood.
Conclusion: I coupled this up with a sony xm-1s amp and it sounds great. If you are looking to round out your sound system with a nice deep bass then this is a good deal at a great price. It will get plenty loud, but I'm not one to try to pound out the windows on my suv.
Conclusion: i had the predecessor to this sub and i had it rms at 400 watts in a ported box and it pounded.... and pounded and pounded. as long as you know what you are doing you should never blow a sub especially a kenwood
