Excellent performance from a value line of speakers!

  • Conclusion: I would recommend this component set to anyone interested in clear, defined sound out of a budget friendly set of speakers. These do best powered by an aftermarket head-unit and shine when properly powered by an external amplifier.

  • Conclusion: I installed these in the front and back of my 2011 RAV4 connected to a HiFonics BRX320.4 4-channel amplifier. In my opinion these speakers would sound better if they are paired with a subwoofer, let me explain why: According to some reviewers here sometimes these speakers produce great bass, and...

  • Conclusion: the KFC-P709PS 6" component speaker system is a fantastic upgrade to my Civics door speakers. Even though the fitment chart said they wouldn't fit they fit with a little cutting to the door panel.

These Speakers Got Da BOOM!

RM from IL, Sonic Electronix
26 May 2014
  • Conclusion: Which is surprising considering these are slightly smaller than 6.5" (I don't remember the exact dimensions). Usually smaller speakers have a hard time delivering bass but that didn't stop these little guys from shaking my legs :D The tweeters have a strong, high response and since they are...

Kentwood KFC-X463C

mark, Crutchfield
21 March 2014
  • Summary: I installed these in the front doors of my 2001 Chevy silverado. The install was quick and easy with the supplied instructions. Installation only took about 30 minutes for both doors.
  • Pros: Sound great
  • Cons: Not really a con but I had to drill new 4 mounting holes because they don't use the same plastic clip in mounts as the original GM speakers did

clear sound, great value

Kelvin H., Crutchfield
21 March 2014
  • Summary: Good bass and mid range speakers, and they can handle quite a bit of power too.
  • Pros: These speakers have an in line high pass crossover for the tweeters, and they both (6 1/2s and the tweeters) produce some clear sound.

Not too shabby!

Adam from Mililani, HI, Sonic Electronix

  • Conclusion: These speakers sounded great at the kiosk in BB but they were almost twice as much as here on this site. They sound even better in my car and actually have pretty decent lows, the highs are great too. Good value for what you get!

  • Conclusion: Wow did not expect the sound these produced for the price they get really loud as well as sound nice doing it sure there is better out there but for the price I would pick these up again only complain I had is the tweeter was big but if you can get past that it should be good.

Sounds good

George, Crutchfield
15 January 2014
  • Summary: Installed these speakers in the front doors of my 2010 Colorado ext. cab. OEM speakers included door mounted tweeters. I'm using a Kenwood DPX791BH in-dash receiver to drive them. Crutchfield provided Scosche SAC-656 Speaker Mounting Brackets free with my order.
  • Pros: Sounds good for rock music. Kenwood included mounting brackets.
  • Cons: Kenwood installation instructions leave much to be desired.
