kfc p680c great speakers, Crutchfield
12 June 2013
  • Summary: Very easy to install , shipping was fast ,all the brackets lined up and they sound great now that I have a new head unit . If you are planning on purchasing these speakers do your self a favor and buy a head unit because they sound terrible under powered . If u get a head unit with a built in amp with 22 rms 50 watts per channel it will sound crystal clear.
  • Cons: Be careful when connecting the wires to the speakers the metal is a little thin

Large frequency range qualify for full range speaker.

  • Summary: Speakers have good high and midrange. Low are good after break in period. I am driving front and rear speaker with a 60rms amplifier and a 10" sub at 300rms. The amp is set to drive the kenwoods at 80khz and above. The sub in the 6" x 8" is 5 1/2" dia. Not 6 1/2". The more the speakers break in, the more bass they deliver. I would buy again.

  • Summary: Installed 2 sets in 2004 Mercury Mountaineer. Installed went perfectly smooth. These speakers mount in the right spots without any mods. Once installed, they sounded awesome! For spending couple of hours in install, because I am a novice, and awesome sound for good price(other sites). I am used to Legacy Audio Whysper XD's at home.. So I know what good sound is supposed to be like. I would recommend these to anyone who wants quick and easy sound upgrade to their cars.

GOOD BANG FOR THE BUCK

  • Summary: I BOUGHT THESE SPEAKERS FROM BILL'S ELECTRONIC GEAR, FOR THE REAR DOORS OF MY 1996 FORD EXPLORER. THEY ARRIVED VERY FAST. THEY WERE EASY TO INSTALL, AND THEY SOUND GREAT. THE HIGH END SPARKLES, AND THE BASS IS DECENT, WAY BETTER THAN STOCK. I WOULD HIGHLY RECOMMEND THESE SPEAKERS TO ANYONE WHO WANTS GOOD SOUND, WITHOUT PAYING A FORTUNE.

Kenwood makes a great product

Tyler N., Crutchfield

  • Summary: I didn't really know what to expect from these speakers before purchase. No one I knew had ever tried them and I even tried some car audio forums to find information. No one seemed to have any. I took a leap of faith and purchased them. I couldn't be happier! The sensitivity is high enough to work well with my factory radio and provide crisp, clear highs and mids.

  • Summary: I've had these speakers in my truck for two weeks and they continue to impress daily. They give a very accurate tight sound doing an exceptional job on the mids and highs and great job on base as well.

Great Speakers!

  • Conclusion: I bought these because they're listed as a direct fit for the 2011 mustang gt. They fit very well, and have crisp highs and pretty good mids. Overall, a massive improvement over stock. If you're an audiophile, you're better off with components, but they definitely won't be anywhere close to the price points of these speakers. I'd rate installation as a 2 out of 10 on level of difficulty.

kenwood speakers

Andy Denver from denver co, Sonic Electronix

  • Conclusion: Great speakers for the front doors on my 2000 Ranger. No complaints. Highs are crisp and there's enough bass to require some padding to be added to all the parts that have rattled loose as a result of it.
