Summary: Solid for the price the reviews made them seem AMAZIMG.. they are just solid middle low end speakers.. huge upgrade to the 1997 speakers in the boat. Worth the money for sure. I'f you want high end speakers.. pay high prices.. these were solid replacements for my 97 sea eat speakers.
Summary: These are great sounding and durable speakers. I have 6 of them mounted in a center console boat that I use in the coastal waters of Florida. I've had them for 2 years and they all work perfectly and still look great with no fading or loss in sound quality.

Summary: I bought two pair of these to replace the factory speakers on my pontoon. Night and day difference from before. Even with poor speaker layout and cheap sony deck these speakers have done surprisingly well. I may order two more and get a better deck to even things out!

Summary: A nice upgrade to the old stock JVC speakers in my boat. Paired these up with a Pyle PLMRA400 400-Watt 4-Channel Waterproof Marine/Car Amplifier . Added just the right amount of "punch" needed to make my boat stereo system a little more potent than the stock system.
Summary: Great speakers. I ordered 2 sets of these for my boat, not expecting alot out of a 6.5" speaker. Both sets were installed under the rear seat, so it creates a "Speaker Box" and pumps out a considerable amount of bass. Considering the cost and size, you can't go wrong.
Summary: Fantastic speakers for the size. Kenwood knows what they are doing. Have it connected to a Kenwood KMR-D358 and I originally bought two sets of these speakers, sub and amp, but after connecting one pair of these, I returned the other pair, sub and amp because the sound was more than I expected.
