Summary: I bought this product to replace my rear factory speakers that were sun rotted. I like the fact that all I had to do was install the speakers in the original factory mounts. I didn't have to butcher my car to install these speakers, for my taste these speakers are perfect.
Summary: I replaced the cracked rear deck speakers on my 2002 Honda Civic with JVC CS-V6938 6"x9" 3-way car speakers. The results were amazing. I didn't know what I was missing. The install went easily and took about an hour.
Pros: 3 way speakers cover the full spectrum of sounds, making the mid ranges pop out and can understand the song words better. Much better bass than factory speakers.
Cons: None, except now I am considering changing out the front speakers.
Summary: These speakers look and sound good. The mounting to the rear deck of a 09 sentra was easy and a good fit. Clear mid and high range performance and bass is ok. A subwoofer with an amp would be a good addition to complete a great sounding system. Good sound for the price.
Summary: These are great sounding speakers and a great addition to the new in-dash unit. While installation should be easy in many cars, it was VERY difficult installing these in the rear of a 2001 Honda Civic EX.
Pros: Great sound
Cons: Difficult installation in my application (but not in most).
Summary: I wasn't sure to begin with , went ahead got this set of JVC speaker what a surprise when I installed this in place of my factory Tacoma speaker , the sound is amazingly clear , good bass , good midrange and even the tweeter sound 100% better no distortion even when volume up to 80% I don't listen...
Pros: Easy install with installation gear from Crutchfield , sound quality , right price .
Summary: These are a great set if speakers and would highly recommend it to anyone who wants to replace their stock speakers. Originally had them in my 00 Oldsmobile Intrigue and now I've put them in my 12 Impala. They was no modifications whatsoever and they directly fit in.
Summary: Generally speaking, deck or enclosure-mounted 6x9's give more bass response than 5x7 / 6x8's do. That said, the rear deck-mounted factory 6x9's in my wife's cavalier were pretty much shot, so I picked a pair of these up. What a difference. The highs are crisp and easily audible with low input.
Pros: Excellent clarity, great highs, great mids, greata lows, no distortion at higher power levels.
