Summary: Will not need adapters for challenger. Took factory speaker and took out the cone, then cut the basket off so I could slide, (more like force it into) the new speaker into the ring that is left and screwed back into rear deck. Sound great.
Summary: I love them. They replaced my "premium" factory speakers in my PT Cruiser. I'm hearing things I never heard before. It's crystal clear. Crutchfield supplied the adapter and it fit easily enough. I did have to drill one hole but it was simple. I find myself getting in the car just to drive and listen.
Summary: This product did not fit in my 07 ex civic front or back. I know the crutchfield team says they fit but I did the work and it didn't work. I had to go with a smaller 5 1/4 for the back. On the front I just cut the steal door down. I don't recommend doing this just do 5 1/4 front and back. One great thing when I had them plugged in they have great highs and mid range sound.
Summary: I wasn't pleased with lack of Bass in my stock Jetta, even managed to damage one of the drivers in the first year. My Jetta is the Convenience package model with tweeters in the pillars. Adding these JL TR600s added high end but surprisingly much needed bass too. I was initially in disbelief that replacing small door speakers would make this much of a difference.
Pros: Great quality build materials, included wiring adapters (from Crutchfield) fit flawlessly, better high end, much better low end, really compliments the existing door tweeters (if your Jetta is equipped.)
Cons: Detailed instructions weren't included at time of order. There is a great take apart guide on YouTube which I recommend watching, it helped me a great deal (Search for Jetta door speakers.) Rivets have to be drilled out of stock speakers for removal (so once you drill out the factory speakers there is no going back.) You will need multiple sizes of Torx drivers, T15, T20.
