Conclusion: I have owned a set in my 2007 Honda accord for five years now and they still sound great. Crisp highs but not a lot of bass but there 6×9s so... I just purchased these for a 2001 mustang with a 70 × 4 Kenwood amp and crossed them at 80 hz hpf.
Summary: These fit into my 2006 F150 and sound so much better than factory speakers. They have better base and are clear at all volume levels. I am running these off the factory head with no amp but plan on adding an amp or different head unit before long.
Summary: installed 4 speakers in my 2005 F150 STX, Crutchfield sez they fit the rear doors only but fit my front doors fine(no power windows or locks). Not as much bass as the Kenwoods I had installed but the mids and highs are much brighter, also using an 8" JL subwoofer so bass is no problem.
Summary: I was looking to get better sound out of my stock head unit in my '12 F150 (base stereo with tweeters in the "A" pillar) so I picked up a set of these for the front door. These speakers were a huge improvement over the stock ones. They produce detail in music I have never heard before.
Summary: I finally decided on replacing my stock speakers in my 12 mustang. Even though I enjoy making my own music under my right foot with 815rwhp I still like the radio every once in a while. After checking reviews I got hooked on these. Ended up ordering them and the next day they came in.
