Summary: I just upgraded the tunes in my 1969 camaro and these speakers will Rock your world!!!! they give a depth to the sound that is hard to describe. And can handle all the power I throw at em. Very crisp highs full range is great aswell.
Summary: If you want a cranking set of speakers these are what you want. Try using nuts & bolts to mount cause the screws are an accident waiting to happen.A full sounding speaker especially with amp.People will jump out of your car it's so loud.
Summary: I installed these in a honda accord. They are power hungry so buyers should understand this purchase should be accompanied by an amplifier unless you already have one that has a spare 220 watts RMS to give. An average aftermarket radio can handle between 50 and 60 total RMS watts. The magnet is super heavy and awesome but it's greatness requires an extra 1/4 to 1/2 inch of install depth compared to my alpines.
Conclusion: These are the best and loud'st I've owned and heard and can put heaps of power in to the and they love it i have 4 of these and putting 200 RMS in to each and they pound they reproduce so much low bass and hi's and dont distort at all. These alone make everything vibrate.
Conclusion: Got the three way eclipse components in the front and these in the back. theses speakers knock. the eclipses can't keep up they're so clear so loud just awesome. Will put a smile on your face when you hear them.
Great speakers that deliver the classic JBL sound.

Conclusion: I highly recommend these speakers. They're relatively cheap and the build quality of them is fantastic. As usual the sound quality is superb as with most JBL products. I personally have owned many JBL monitors over the years and currently own much of their professional products. The sound from the P963s is similar sounding to virtually all speakers I've had from JBL. Clear, undistorted mids and highs with a warm and revealing transparency that somehow stays neutral.
