Conclusion: I bought 2 pair of these to go in my 2010 Chevy Avalanche to replace the "premium" Bose speakers in the doors. I was told I needed 2ohm speakers if I panned on using the factory head unit because that's what the factory speakers were. So I tried them and they sound amazing. Much better than those Bose speakers. I will eventually put an amp to them in the future but for now the head unit is doing a good job and these speakers really made the music come alive.
Excerpt: i wanted to upgrade my sound in my 2011 corolla s. so i read all types of reviews and watched youtube videos and everybody said nothing by great things about these speakers. and they were so right. the 638's in my front doors sound amazing. when they say concert sound they mean it. crystal clear highs and mids. i also put the 938's in the rear and they bang with no distortion. forgot to add, that im using the factory head unit and no amps.
Nice Speaker, Just feed it some power to be happy.

Conclusion: I got this speaker to replace the cheap 2ohm rear speakers in my 2014 Nissan Frontier. Install was very easy, but had to cut factory wiring to connect. Make sure you get the polarity right so you do not have to remove the door panel again. Sound it very nice with factory radio, But add a amp like i did and you will be much happier.
Conclusion: These are high end speakers, worth much more! Thank you Sonic Electronix for making them affordable for me I love mine they sound amazing and I also have the tree way 6X9's in the rear deck! It's a win win.
