Poor sound quality

Jescott418, Staples

  • Excerpt: It works, but the sound quality is not so great and if you turn up the volume too much everything gets raspy. It does connect easily to my iPhone and re connects fine. You get a vocal announcement that it is connected. Works better in a quiet vehicle. ON/Off switch is cheap and small. Should have been located on top then side for ease of turning off when leaving vehicle.

  • Summary: This device is suitable for telephone voice conversation as its frequency spectrum is tuned for regular voice range. If you want to listen music thru a Bluetooth device, this is not the one.

Great little unit!

  • Excerpt: With my new phone being a larger size than the last one, it made holding it akward at best. Then getting a hand injury, I had to find places to park to use the phone. I got this Jabra set and it works very well. My husband says that it sounds awesome and he doesn't hear any background noises.

  • Summary: Tried to use the Jabra Drive Bluetooth Speaker and found a very small brackish speaker hard to understand Compared to the Motorola Sonic Rider. It connected to the phone via bluetooth easily, but that's all I like about it and the Motorola had more options. I purchased both so I could compare and returned the jabra. I would not recommend the Jabra.

Great little device!

Mike, Staples
30 November 2014
  • Excerpt: As an outside sales rep for a foodservice company, I am on my phone constantly while I'm on the move. With new laws in my home state banning the use of hand held devices while driving and even more importantly, increased enforements efforts, I needed something to keep me hands free. This unit is very nice for the money. Sound quality is very good. Battery holds a charge long enough to get me through my day. Definitely glad I purchased the Jabra Drive.

Jabra Blutooth

Joe Stack, Staples

  • Excerpt: I have an older model car that does not have a built in Bluetooth application. This product enables me to go "hands free" in my vehicle. I plan on getting one for my wife's car. Great sound clarity for the money.

  • Summary: Great device that's simple to use and connect to my phone. I turn off the device between uses to save battery and it automatically connects once I turn it back on. Comes with a usb cord and car charger.
