High quality at a great price

Kyle from Kansas City, KS, Sonic Electronix
24 September 2014
  • Conclusion: I love the midrange and directional tweeters on these. I put 4 of these in a 2010 ford f150 fx4 super crew. It was an upgrade of sound overall really hear all the highs and midrange off of factory head unit. The lows are lacking for what I'm looking for, but I don't have these amplified and have no sub.

great quality speakers

joe r, Crutchfield
2 March 2014
  • Summary: great sounding speakers with a perfect fit in my ford F250 and with the included wiring harness adapters no need to splice anything, just plug in,stick em in the hole, and crank it up. Crutchfield delivers once again with fast delivery, packaging, and even the master sheet which was emailed to me before the speakers even arrived so I had time to check everything out about removing the door panels. it was perfect. install time was about 30 min.
  • Pros: quality built speakers with easy installation
  • Cons: no cons about speaker themselves but next time I will also get new speaker wire, factory wire in my truck is very thin and cheap better wire will improve the sound even more

Terribly disapointing

Virgil, Crutchfield
18 January 2014
  • Summary: I have read the other reviews and I just don't understand them. The factory speakers on my 2010 F150 sounded much better than these. I am using the stock Sync head unit and these speakers just sound horrible. I have had them about 4 months now so they are definitely broken in, but they just sound like trash. There is little details to the highs and mids and the bass just washes out everything.
  • Pros: None. Zero.
  • Cons: Awful sound. Muddy bass competing with flat highs. Just absolutely the worst sounding speakers.
