High quality at a great price

Kyle from Kansas City, KS, Sonic Electronix

  • Conclusion: I love the midrange and directional tweeters on these. I put 4 of these in a 2010 ford f150 fx4 super crew. It was an upgrade of sound overall really hear all the highs and midrange off of factory head unit.

Solid Choice

ShaneM, Crutchfield

  • Summary: I replaced the stock speakers in my 2012 Mustang GT and was pleasantly surprised by the increased quality of sound. Overall, I would say this is a very solid speaker for its price.
  • Pros: Good with highs and bass.
  • Cons: None yet, but I've only had them in for a week.

Terribly disapointing

Virgil, Crutchfield
2 March 2014
  • Summary: I have read the other reviews and I just don't understand them. The factory speakers on my 2010 F150 sounded much better than these. I am using the stock Sync head unit and these speakers just sound horrible.
  • Pros: None. Zero.
  • Cons: Awful sound. Muddy bass competing with flat highs. Just absolutely the worst sounding speakers.

great quality speakers

  • Summary: great sounding speakers with a perfect fit in my ford F250 and with the included wiring harness adapters no need to splice anything, just plug in,stick em in the hole, and crank it up.
  • Pros: quality built speakers with easy installation
  • Cons: no cons about speaker themselves but next time I will also get new speaker wire, factory wire in my truck is very thin and cheap better wire will improve the sound even more

Proper sound

Chris, Crutchfield
18 January 2014
  • Summary: These aren't going to thump your crappy sub-compact car down the street, but they will give you a very broad spectrum of accurate and pleasing audio. I'm a recording engineer by trade and these are as good as you can get unless you're willing to use an amp and spend a lot more $$$ per speaker.
  • Pros: Accurate, non fatiguing, smooth
  • Cons: For BEST results, they really should be amped. Not bad at all from factory deck/amp though!
