Summary: I installed these speakers in my 2002 Avalanche with the factory deck. They sound great. The installer said I would have even better sound if I installed an amp and new head unit. I may do both of those things later down the road because right now I am happy with the sound that I get from the factory deck.

Summary: I am a fan of both Infinity speakers and its parent company, Harman Kardon. These speakers have Great instrument separation, true sound reproduction and are made from quality materials that will last a long time. I have a pair of Infinity reference speakers from the 90's that I use with my Marantz 2230; The ones with the clear poly woofers and subs. These are the same material, but silver. I can only guess that these should also last me 20+ years. Highly recommended.
Summary: These are wonderful speakers at a great price. The sound of these speakers is like that of much more expensive speakers. These speakers has a true 4 ohms which is found on the more expensive speakers costing 2, 3, even 4 times as much so yes I am very pleased!!!
Summary: A while back I blew a back speaker in my 2008 Impala w/Bose. I tried a pair of speakers from Walmart, they sounded like crap and I returned them. I went online, found a pair of 6x9 Infinity Reference series speakers for the back. I fell in love with them so much I knew I needed the front speakers to match. The improvement over the stock Bose speakers is insane, you would think I spent way more then $120 for all four speakers.
Summary: Infinity is on top in my book! These speakers sound awesome. They are very clear and provide plenty of dynamics. The optional dB switch on the directional tweeters was very convenient. They handle a lot of power.....super loud. I have a pretty nice system that is all infinity (12"sub and amp, 2 pair of the 6.5's, and 2 pair of tweeters). If you like hearing all the qualities of music...its the way to go!!!
Summary: These Infinity's are the best. The sound is emaculate and loud. Once you've replaced your original car factory speakers, you will definitely be able to tell the difference. Especially, with the 5 - 10 watt factory stereo.

Conclusion: I have always found the Infinity Reference speakers to give the most true sound in any of the cars I've had them in. And for the price, you can't go wrong. Plus, I've never had one go out on me, and my current car has 225,000 miles on it.

Conclusion: Crisp highs, good mid bass. No distortion yet and we do play them loud sometimes. They are hooked up on a Pioneer GM-6000F (50RMS x 4) with 2 other Infinitys (components). Solid performer for this pricepoint. I prefer the highs on these than ANY Polks.
