Summary: Put these in a 2010 street glide street glide with a kenwood head unit and small Rockford amp. Sounded okay but one bump in the road caused one to completely fail. No problem with the return and alpine type R that replaced them sound 100x better
Summary: The sound is clear but the base is absent. These speakers were purchased to replace a set of 8" round speakers with center tweeter. Initial sound quailty is good, but there is a marker loss of bass in the sound system.
Summary: Good replacement speakers for my 98 Volvo V70 XC AWD. A whole lot better than stock speakers. Got decent bass, but, if you want thumping bass, get a seperate sub-woofer, as I plan to do in the near future. Overall, I am very satisfied. Thanks Crutchfield!!
Summary: After listening to the great sounds from the Helix Blue 5.25" speakers that I purchased earlier from Crutchfield for the rear doors of my 1996 Toyota 4Runner Limited, I just had to complete the set with a pair of 6.75" for the front doors. BIG difference in sound quality - highs and lows!
Pros: Perfect fit, perfect sound, great quality for a great price!
Summary: No bass if that's what you're looking for, but what do you expect with a low frequency of 60hz. Great sounding highs. Wasnt really what I was looking for but was the only decent speakers that would fit in the front doors of my car.
Summary: These were one of the suggested replacements in my 1995 Nissan Maxima. I replaced both front and rear sets. The speakers were a drop-in replacement, with the adapter wiring harnesses. The speakers themselves are such a big improvement over the original speakers.
Pros: Perfect match for my car. Direct replacement. Sound super now.
