Nice mids and highs

  • Summary: Tried putting these in my subaru legacy in the front doors and dash speaker (tweeter) slots. Had to build harnesses for the tweeters, but the woofers went in the doors without issue. Despite the low peak RMS, these bad boys really sounded like garbage before I threw a clarion amp in the dash to power them. Mids and highs sound great, but bass lacks (as to be expected. from 5.25 speakers). The tweeters are loud, but they aren't harsh.
  • Pros: Clear, warm mids. Tweeters are loud, but not abrasive
  • Cons: Tweeters are too loud. Woofers don't have much bass, and it's easy to push them too hard, even with a 50 watt rms amp.

HELIX Blue B52C review

  • Summary: I put these speaker in a Jeep because these are listed. They sound great. The fit great into a CJ7 and flush against the dash. Mid Bass levels add a kick to the front audio experience and the tweeters add the highs. Crystal clear sound from these and built well. Should be lasting enjoyment. One tweeter and one crossover didn't work. Crutchfield send me another set of speaker and I was good to go. I am very pleased with these and they add great sound....even for a jeep!
  • Pros: Easy install, built well and clear highs and great mid levels.
  • Cons: Tweeter and crossover was not working but they sent replacements.
