Horrible product

Breanna, Crutchfield
4 November 2015
  • Summary: Absolutely horrible sound. Zero bass. I bought these and front speakers and all 4 Alpine sound like crap and are very scratchy. I regret spending the time and money on these.
  • Pros: Nothing
  • Cons: Everything

Alpine for life

Sk8Board, Crutchfield
24 October 2015
  • Summary: I love these speakers, I have a 2005 Honda S2000. And after 6 years of owning it I got tired of the speakers that were in it. I've had alpine speakers before so I knew what to expect. When I was younger I had an Alpine Type R 12" sub in my 300zx and that thing hit so hard.
  • Pros: Unbeatable sound for the price, alpine always delivers!
  • Cons: No cons!

2008 Subaru Impreza

Angel, Crutchfield
14 October 2015
  • Summary: Speakers seem fine but wasn't plug and play. In order to put these speakers in you will need to purchase a bracket and drill one hole in the bracket or use the bracket given with the speakers and drill 2 holes into the door and attach with a bolt and nut.
  • Pros: Seem like a nice setup
  • Cons: Not a perfect fit but manageable

Perfect match to a Veloster

APR, Crutchfield
21 September 2015
  • Summary: These speakers are perfectly driven by the factory dimension audio system (whatever wattage it is, I've found conflicting reports) without needing an amp, in a Veloster Turbo. Thats kind of a rare find. I normally expect to have to bypass the factory amp in my cars whenever I swap out the speakers.
  • Pros: Fantastic bass clarity, not booming. Great treble and highs. Tested with a variety of music (cannibal corpse, blink 182, orbital) to try and find something to complain about. I couldnt find anything to complain about.
  • Cons: I can't stress this enough. Pay somebody to do the install if you have one of these cars.

Super Clean!

Christopher T., Crutchfield
8 August 2015
  • Summary: Very clean. Have these in a 2010 Nissan Versa, hooked up to a Pioneer Class D 4 Channel amp pushing 100 watts RMS per channel giving these components the juice they need. I'm blown away at how crisp these are!!!!
  • Pros: Clean and Crisp!
  • Cons: None.

almost perfect fit !

west ham stu, Crutchfield
14 June 2015
  • Summary: all said and done, good speakers at reasonable price. installation was a bit of nightmare, as the instructions, are pretty much a caveman drawing. ended up having go to store to buy parts, also you need a hole saw to cut panel to make tweeters work !
  • Pros: good quality speaker
  • Cons: less than adequate instructions
