Summary: I already had a great set of Pioneer speakers in the rear of my van, but when I swapped them out with these Alpine SPS-406 2-way speakers, the crispness of the highs when immediately evident. They fill in the background sounds and support the main speakers beautifully! You can't go wrong with Alpine. I highly recommend them.
Summary: These speakers worked great in my buddy's jeep wrangler. We used them to replace the factory front dash speakers and they make a world of difference. Even un-amped these speakers are loud enough to hear clean, crisp sound with the doors removed and top down. Lacking base but the sound quality is stunning. The only downside was having to make custom brackets to replace the stock mounting brackets but it wasn't too bad.
Pros: Great sound, loud, clear and crisp highs
Cons: Lacking base, custom mounting brackets for certain applications
Summary: i bought this product based on price and brand. as far as my likes go this speaker is built well and the sound is clean and clear. I have no dislike on this product. Even though this is not the top of the line speaker costing hundreds I still rate this speaker right up there. I would buy this speaker again when the time comes.
Summary: They were alot better than the factory speakers that were in my 1995 s10 on a cheap Sony head unit they sounded great low bass but excellent for the size good clean crisp highs I would get another pair again any day easy install for not supposedly fitting speakers
Summary: This speaker was an excellent match for my Alpine MRP-F240 amplifier and Alpine SPS-610C in front. The bass was better than I expected and the tweeters are awesome! Installation was a easy, my only minor challenge was determining which adapters to use. Over all I am very satisfied with sound quality and installation.
