Great Speakers

Buck from Chesaning, MI, Sonic Electronix

  • Conclusion: I replaced the stock speakers in my 2006 Ford Fusion. These things were a huge improvement obviously. I have these running on a hifonics zrx1000.4 and they are getting 125w rms and handling it well. Speakers are very loud and crystal clear. and for 6x8's they have terrific bass They aren't even broke in yet. If you have the money I would recommend you buy these and you will be happy you did.

Overall great speaker worth the price

roy from Lewisville, ID, Sonic Electronix

  • Conclusion: Used these to replace the taxi cab speakers in my 2012 Boss mustang. Installation was easy but be sure to buy the metra pigtails if you want to use the stock ford speaker wire harness. Look on line to see how to take your car apart without damaging your car. The speakers do not have a grille and the speakers would look good if they could be seen. Clarity. Is very good and there is a significant difference in sound quality over the stock back speakers. Fit was very good.

  • Conclusion: These speakers are a great replacement for the factory speakers. I used these on my 2007 mustang and I must say that they are pretty impressive. They aren't expensive and they aren't bad quality. I would highly recommend this to anyone who is on a budget and are looking for some speakers that you get good bang for your buck.

  • Summary: These speakers sound amazing! They are very powerful and such a crisp sound. They are very loud but they don't seems to to pick up the lower frequency for very low bass as well.
  • Pros: Great quality, very loud, high efficiency
  • Cons: Doesn't pick up very low bass

Clean and clear at all volume levels

dnut, Crutchfield
4 April 2014
  • Summary: In the end, I went with these for the front door on the new 2014 Mustang instead of component speakers because I did not feel like the extra step of making holes for the tweeter mounts on an already complex install - I put in a whole new audio system along with these speakers. So far, I am not disappointed - these give clear, clean sound no matter what I throw at them - Metal, pop, symphonic metal or opera style vocals.
  • Pros: - Clean, clear sound at all levels. - Highs are awesome - not sorry I skipped the component system.
  • Cons: - There was an extra screw tab that had to be cut off to fit in the Ford OEM enclosure in the door. No problem, other than I felt I was keeping them even before I heard them after going "snip"!
