EXCELLENT!

  • Conclusion: You won't be disappointed with these. I had replaced my Boston Acoustics with these, my cheaper I thought I wouldn't get the same performance. They are better, glad I bought them. The only grip I have is the size of the tweeter housing and the lack of assembly if you wanted to dashmount from the bottom, they are huge but the perk of being able to direct them once they're installed is a nice feature I put them in a Ford F350 Crew Cab, fronts and rears.

Great set of speakers

Jeremy, Crutchfield
14 February 2014
  • Summary: I have been very satisfied with the speakers. They are paid with an alpine amp 110 rms. the sound great and never seem like they are working hard.
  • Pros: Fit in car perfectly. Sounds very clean
  • Cons: Tweeter is very high... Even with crossover set at the 2nd highest setting. Probably need to adjust it all the way down. Crutchfield service was great!

Decent component speaker sound

SteveB, Crutchfield
14 February 2014
  • Summary: Maybe it's the Alpine PDX-V9 amp I got to power my system, but something just isn't delivering the punch I had hoped for. While the sound is quality, I was really hoping for a more powerful system.
  • Pros: Sound quality is quite good
  • Cons: Not loud enough to satisfy my taste.

Awesome Sound

Nolan from Grantsville, Ut, Sonic Electronix
17 September 2013
  • Conclusion: You will not be disappointed with these speakers. The sound quality is far and beyond what my oem speakers did for me. The only problem I had is I can't roll my windows down anymore because the speaker is so deep. However, this was a bit of poor planning on my part. Just be sure that they'll fit in your car.

Alpine SPR-50C

ChrisO, Crutchfield
6 April 2013
  • Summary: These speakers pack quite a punch for being only 5.25". These speakers have crisp sound and a lot of bass. I have it installed in a 2005 Accord EX and it makes my rear-view mirror shake (no sub installed). These speakers are well worth the money as I am only putting ~50 watts rms to each along with the spr69. These speakers are true quality loud speakers as I've owned eminence, selenium, american bass, etc.
  • Pros: Very light, crisp, loads of bass.
  • Cons: makes my doors shake violently even when turned down, dynamat may be the solution.
