frustrating

  • Summary: I wanted a new stereo so I could play my ipod, so that part is cool and that's about it. The clock is ridiculously small and since I'm always trying to beat the clock getting to work etc., it would be nice to have a "one-touch" display button like my old stereo instead of doing 5 steps to get to the large clock display (that they deem as entertainment), I call it a necessity. Then as soon as the car shuts off, you have to repeat those steps again.

Pioneer Media Player

  • Summary: Much better menu system than the Previous Pioneer CD/MP3 deck I had. Even though it has less buttons, it makes sense and is easier to navigate. Playing videos on it works, although it's a bit of a gimick, the screen is too small to really comfortably watch, it's better to watch on my iPhone screen. Pandora integration is a lot better, although it'd be nice if selecting it on the deck would start it on the iPhone automatically.

Nice, but equally annoying.

  • Summary: This is my second pioneer I've owned in 10 years. The first had many annoyances that I had hoped pioneer fixed. The only reason I bought another pioneer was I was trying to use my same XM box - the 910. It doesn't work, you need the newer 920 to see channel data, etc. although you can hear it.
