Summary: Simple design with easy one button to navigate setup. HD radio signal is strong with 93 dB and switch to analog if digital signal is out of range. Very clear crispy sounds delivers to my Infinity speakers with low distortion that the ear can't pick up anyway. Bluetooth pairs easily with my phone. Front USB takes a bit longer than I like to read the files initially. Ipod support but I don't care for an Ipod, my music files are in USB.
Summary: I have a 2003 VW Jetta and needed something to consolidate the mish-mash of oddities I had for hands-free calling and BT audio in addition to helping me find good quality audio for my daily commute. After many long attempts to locate the features I needed, I found this unit - double-din, Blueooth audio and phone, HD Radio, and a USB for when all else fails. It has CD too, but I really don't need that. It arrived yesterday night; and today by midday it's working great.
Summary: This is a great unit. All fucnction work . It has a really great dac which make the mp3 files found uncompress. Hd radio is great. Interface using bluetoogh, usb and aux is great. Navigation while hsing ios or android pnot so great. Cd player is less than great.
Summary: Unit was on back order for a couple of weeks. But it was worth the wait. Using the supplied wiring harness and instructions specificaly written for my Avalon, it got installed in less then 45 minutes. Lots of great features. Best bang for the buck.
Pros: Ability to customize display colours, JVC quality, Best bang for the buck.
Cons: had to wait for the next availiable shipment.
Summary: The installation instructions, wiring harness and connectors fit perfectly. I was a little disappointed in the large gap around the receiver but will have to try and cut down the trim piece to fit.
Pros: Great receiver. Sharp looks and the functions are easy to learn.
Cons: Didn't fit my Eclipse dash as well as I hoped.
Summary: This JVC double din unit was installed in my 2013 Subaru Forester, it was relatively easy to install with all the necessary adapters included in the box from Crutchfield, there are some minor modifications to be made to the new radio before installation in the dash such as removing the face plate and mounting brackets and then attaching the supplied mounting kit, it was a little tricky with my particular car but all in all it worked out very well , I added the Axxess...
Pros: moderate installation time, all supplied wiring and mounting gear necessary was received, directions are very clear and in detail, phone support if necessary is a huge plus!
Cons: removing the original faceplate from new radio and installing the supplied mounting bracket for my vehicle proved a little tricky in the beginning, after careful study and experiment with the new mounting hardware and radio it all came together.
Summary: I've been jealous of the sound system in my wife's car for two years now so on a whim I started researching new units on Crutchfield's site. It didn't take long to narrow it down to this JVC - I needed the same size as the original Rockford Fosgate in my Nissan Xterra and I wanted bluetooth, HD radio (106.1 The Corner baby!), CD and AUX inputs.
Pros: Display and text size Customizable display colors HD Radio It plays CD's!
Cons: 3-band EQ Poor transfer of media info (source-dependent) Crutchfield installation team apparently did not plan well for this unit, my wife was forced to go back to Crutchfield for another appointment four hours later than the original to complete the installation, apparently installing the microphone took another hour (huh??). We weren't very pleased with either this or an installation bill that was higher than quoted (but was discounted after she insisted).
