Summary: Great head unit! Purchased this to replace the factory AM/FM radio that's in my '93 Toyota Pickup. I wanted to be able to play the occasional CD, stream music from my phone, or place a hands free phone call. It does all of this flawlessly, I couldn't ask for more.

Summary: It takes forever to read the songs on my USB drive, and using the optional XM box gets me XM radio, but the presets don't work. So every time I turn the car on, I have to press the channel buttons over and over and over to get to the channels I like. It also doesn't ID songs like other XM radios.
Summary: Great buy! The sound is wonderful. TIP #1: If there is no sound when you install the unit, then your car has a subwoofer/amp. Check under the driver seat. If so, you need to pigtail the amp wire and the main power supply wire together, which will solve the problem.
Great sounding, but an interface that needs a human touch

Summary: First, I did not do my own installation so I cannot comment on how hard or easy it would have been. I simply did not have the desire to spend an afternoon doing auto yoga as I contorted and twisted myself in unnatural ways getting this JVC KW-HDR81BT receiver into my 2001 Acura.
