Summary: I have been usign it for a while now and works good, great sound. The fact that I can control my Ipod with it it's great. The handsfree bluetooth pairing works fine, wvwn if they hear you with a little background noise. What I don't like it's that the screen becomes unreadable with the sun and since most of the controls are at the touchscreen, it can be hard to operate it while driving.
Summary: I have had this unit for 4 months. It plays well, doesn't skip, easy function buttons, and is pretty user friendly. It looks nice and the bluetooth streaming for music works pretty well & the DVD works perfect. Installed a backup camera and sub and both work great. I also bought for the bluetooth function. What a waste of money to upgrade to this feature. I have moved the microphone all over the place and even put a ground loop isolator on it and still horrible quality.
Pretty decent headunit but Blue tooth nees refinement.

Summary: This head unit is fantastic! It has good sound reproduction, is easy to install, fit my dash kit easily. I would have rated it a higher except that the Blue Tooth phone calls are difficult. The person on the other end has a real hard time hearing what I'm saying. Since where I live there is a ban on cell phone use this was one of the main features I was looking for and needed to work. Perhaps with some refinement it would work a bit better.
Summary: This is decent but doesn't really perform the way I expected. I personally installed this in my 2012 MX-5. Installation was not too bad but a little confusing since I purchased a vehicle specific harness, iphone cable, and steering wheel control cable. Lots of wires everywhere. I bought this unit for its many features like blue tooth, iphone control, nav through iphone. Blue tooth sucks. The caller can not hear me and hangs up. Mic is right near the steering wheel.
Summary: I bought this head unit for my 2013 Scion FRS because the factory Pioneer Bespoke unit did not support XM radio. The factory unit did however have great voice command ability for phone calls. Therefore the main features that I wanted from the replacement unit were XM radio compatibility and the ability to use voice commands with the phone. This unit does support those. The XM radio works well but when changing stations the system occasionally freezes up.
Summary: My personal "Must Have" features: Volume knob - safer to use than buttons without diverting driver attention from the road. Large clock display (eyes are getting old and don't want to wear reading glasses to drive). Can play MP3 files from USB drive (or SD card). This is how I use it most of the time. My personal "Nice to Have" features: Detachable front panel (installed in a convertable). DVIX / XVID video playback from disk and USB (or SD).
Summary: Saved $200 over local car audio shop. Great buy. Bluetooth adapter doesnt work and has not since day one. Only reason 3 stars is bluetooth problem and it is a frequently reported issue with JVC - not the seller.
