Summary: This thing is awesome. Is one of the few I've seen that has a nice visual style to it while retaining it's basic functionality. Tho, as people stated, no clock visible while actually using it but that doesn't matter because my car has one built into the dash just above the radio anyways, and I've got a watch so. yea...OTHER THAN THAT, this thing is pretty awesome! Even managed to bypass the parking break function without buying an extra part.
Summary: Product was shipped amazingly fast! Very good stereo for the price! Only complaint is the response time is slow when pushing channel or volume. Otherwise, for the price not going to complain! Just a tip, make sure to bypass the DVD player so that you can watch the movie while in drive. Kids enjoy it from the backseat. I did have to also purchase a special wiring unit to use the original amp in my car.
Summary: For the money it serves the purpose. Litterally do not expect to be wowed with features, the sole purpose I purchased this was to play pandora or spotify though the head unit and it does just that.
Summary: I bought this stereo from Walmart, it was the cheapest touch screen they had for sale in store, but the box read that it had all the same features as the stereo I currently had, just in touch screen form, with the added ability to watch DVDs. My previous stereo was a simple JVC double din, color changing options, basic stereo. I can honestly say I liked the JVC more than this one.
Summary: I ordered this unit for a Nissan Altima and expected better quality than I received. Here's a list of problems I had with the iPod Interface: - The UI is abysmal. - The color scheme looks as though it was chosen by a preschooler. - The track selections are an odd contrast. - There is no fast way to go through tracks, there is no search function that I could find. - The track listings are so small it's hard to pick what you actually wanted.
Summary: This unit has many flaws besides those already listed. 1) There's no way to see the clock without pressing the Back button 2) Once you press the back button to see the clock, you can only leave that display up for about 10 seconds before it automatically reverts to whatever page you were on...
Summary: As everyone else has already mentioned, just ground that parking brake wire if you want to bypass the safety feature that doesn't allow you to watch DVDs while driving. That would be annoying on a road trip if my fiance wanted to watch something. I actually still haven't used the DVD player except for the first day as a test. Anyway, there are a few minor frustrations I've experienced.
Summary: this radio is awesome. i installed it myself into my 2003 chevy cavalier and its a perfect fit and it is really cheap. this is a great deal for the price it has many features and is awesome. the way to bypass the parking brake feature by the way is to hook the pink wire to a ground wire and the dvd player will work all the time.
Summary: I ordered this for a friend that wanted DVD, touchscreen and MP3 capabilities. This was one of the cheaper double DINs we could find that met those requirements and looked pretty decent. It was received and installed and almost immediately started experiencing issues. It eventually escalated to the point where the thing was near useless. A few emails with Amazon later and the device was replaced and the new one is working great.
