Summary: This Clarion EQ was definately a good buy for only 53 bucks shipped brand new. It does a pretty good job at letting the user fine tune their music according to their preferrences. Fitment was the only issue I encountered with this product since it was installed in an '04 Nissan Maxima. I had to modify the factory bracket to fit and flush this product so that it would not stick too far out or in.
Summary: if you wan't to bump your system to a higher level this is the part
you need don't let the price fool you it is by no means cheep i put it in line with a new jensen vm9412 with my 3 ads amps the 7 volt output
drives them better then before and the control you get with the sub and hight is perfect, i didn't expet much for 50bucks, i was suprised.
Summary: This product is simply fantastic. It was easy to install inmy '02 mustang and it made my system sound great. I have a 300watt alpine amp running my type R doorspeakers and a 600watt mb quartz running 2 JL subs. It makes he whole system sound amazing! The only part I was annoyed with it came on the very last day of thes shipping window so it did delay my installation. Over all great product would recomend it to anyone.
Great little eq, good for head units with only two pre-outs
28 July 2012
Summary: Installed using a dash kit with some customization. Looks great! Color on knobs matches blue color on alpine head unit. Takes only two pre-ins, good for head units with only two pre-outs, gives you front, rear and sub outs. Not so good for head unuits with 4pre-outs though. Can control my sub from the dash now, like the eq functions, and 8v pre-out max means I have nice clean sound.
