Summary: I Purchased the Sony XAV70BT and after installing it in my 06 Ford F-250, I Wasn't really happy with it. For some of the reasons other reviews have mentioned. I kept it for about two weeks (hoping some of the bugs could be worked out) but to no avail.I sent it back, and traded up to a(sony XAV72BT ) The difference is outstanding. I will give my review on that unit in a different location.
Do not buy if you are used to modern and more high end receivers

Summary: This unit has several great features. The sound quality is poor. This unit is very slow. Before I bought it I read reviews saying it was slow, and it was compared to an old 133mhz cpu computer with win95 in it. It is true, and it drove me nuts. It is dangerous to use when driving. It is to slow to get whatever I need done in a hurry and get my eyes back on the road.
Summary: Ithese dash has cool features .. I just wish it could work better with iPhone... Its a bit slow sometimes .. Videos look really sharp and clean really easy to bypass ! I just wish it was a bit faster Buy great product it looks classy not as the other dashes with all those bright colors Also the remote keys are really hard to see while driving in the dark
Summary: I bought the sony din three weeks ago and was immediately impressed with the number of features available on this inexpensive din. The din size is perfect for for my car. My only complaint is that the menu system on the din makes you click four times before you can find the program perform a additional functions. Other phones I've owned have simpler menus and get you to important features easily. Overall, I'd recommend the din if you're on a budget.
Summary: I like the touch screen and many functions it has but some of them are not propertly for such a advanced item like this, for ex. the random is just not good at all always playing songs even though you have more than 200 in a usb drive.
Summary: This unit could have been great, but a few poor designs keep it from being functional. For example, The controls for the CD player and radio disappear after about 8 seconds. That means when you want to change a track or change a station you have to first touch the screen to bring up the controls, then you can use the controls to make the changes you want. This is a big distraction when driving, and can be dangerous.
Summary: This is my second Sony DD unit. I upgraded to this from last year's XAV-W1. Startup time is very fast including Bluetooth sync and iPod resume. Within seconds. Bluetooth: Excellent. Pairs w/ iPhones for Talk/Contacts/Music Streaming (including Pandora). Plus it is built-in and does not require an expensive adaptor. Sirius: Good. Maybe the new adaptors allow more info to display (Mine is still limited to one line of text). HD Radio: Good.
Summary: I have owned this unit for a week which included a roadtrip and I must say that this device is one of the greatest sound enhancing products I have bought for either my computer, tv, or car. First I will say that I own a SUV with the stock system and stock speakers. I self installed the Sony xav-70bt, and I am a huge sony fan...so I am a little biased towards their products. Now on to the unit.
