Not what I expected

V.R., Crutchfield
13 February 2014
  • Summary: The radio arrived and had it installed. The blue tooth connection was very spotty and every time I turned the vehicle off I had to reconnect manually. It was always a 2-3 step process. After 1 full day the radio began shutting off. I reconnected and re-grounded all the wiring several times and it would still shut off. I called Crutchfield support and after determining I had it all hooked up correctly they asked me to return it as it was defective.
  • Pros: sleek and nice looking.
  • Cons: too many steps to hook up any blue tooth device. Keeps dropping off every time I turn off and turn on the car. confusing interface.

Great sound but screen unreadable in daylight

Jose, Crutchfield
21 September 2013
  • Summary: I wish I could give this receiver a better rating but I can't . I have a 2005 Scion Xb whose OEM Pioneer receiver died. This receiver was the closes to the OEM look I could find- really can't tell its aftermarket once installed. Installation glitches: the screws provided with this receiver are very shallow. When I connected the factory brackets to the adapter brackets together...the screws were too shallow to reach the receiver.
  • Pros: Produces excellent sound even with the factory speakers. Everything on this receiver is tweakable. Its a very good looking receiver almost OEM in fit, finish, looks.
  • Cons: Unreadable screen in daylight, too much glare from very shiny screen. Overly complex system of menus and adjustments, not intuitive, high learning curve to use even for a techy guy like me.

geht so.. Aber nicht wie angegeben interg. Mikrofon

  • Summary: Das Geraet kommt wertig daher.
