EXCELLENT UNIT

Daniel Colchado Rodriguez, Amazon
25 July 2005
  • Summary: I own this XPLOD and is the best car audio unit i ever tried. the management of sources is incredible fast and easy of use. With the rotating knobs you can access all the tracks, folders and sound parameters in an instant... you'll love this unit. Unfortunatelly my hard drive failed and after i replace it with the same brand, and model i can't use it because it can't be recognized. Sony from Peru can't help me with the partition... by the way is the best car audio unit.

The best car stereo I've owned so far

  • Excerpt: "I bought my MEX-1HD brand new from Cambridge Car Audio for £899 what must be about 7 years ago now. To date I haven't found another car stereo that I would consider swapping it for, the only thing that even get s me close to looking at replacing it is when I reach the 16GB capacity for the hard drive and have to delete something or rerip it at 105 kps instead of the high quality setting (not that I can tell the difference anyway). So easy to use, ...
  • Pros: 16gb built - in hd, easy to use, good sound quality
  • Cons: gracenote license for PC software expired, fairly rare due to original price
