Summary: Well... Let's start saying that the stereo looks good on the car. The lights and sound is excellent but it has a terrible issue when you insert a MP3 device inside. Why?: After an hour and a half playing an Ipod or Nano into the stereo they overheats and the MP3 device turn off. The stereo's power supply turns very hot and the device does not support the high temperatures inside.
Looks real nice, sounds okay-ish. Needs more options for EQ control and especially for disabling the annoying beeping sounds.

Summary: It's a very decent radio for the price. The sound is a bit flat and if I was going to consider putting one of these in my other car, I would definitely need to find a way to bypass the irritating "faceplate reminder beep" that Sony puts on all of their head units. The install was easy. My stock deck was a double DIN, so I bought a pocket and a OEM wiring harness which made everything plug and play.
Summary: I have had this radio for about a month and love it! The speed and fluidity at which it controls the iPod is flawless! With 160gb iPod I have experienced lag in every car stereo I've connected it to. Sometimes taking up to 30 minutes to "index" my device... Whatever that means, but this stereo operates like a docking station. I am very surprised this isn't in every car. I guess people are still holding onto their CD's with desperation...
works great - for a while - and don't EVEN bother to try Sony customer service

Summary: Just now getting around to making this review. Bought this stereo in December 2011 for $179. Worked great, liked it a lot. Almost exactly 14 months later (just long enough to be out of warranty) the bluetooth and USB suddenly stopped working. The unit acts like it's working, shows the track information, play status, etc., but no sound comes out.
Summary: I really enjoy this radio. It has great features. If I had to be picky, I'd just like it to have an Aux input, but beggars can't be choosers. I love the fact that I don't have to use CDs anymore and can have my device hidden behind the face plate.
