Summary: This is a great in-dash!! I have owned three of these and I am hooked. The CDX-M630 offers both high and low sound field crossovers built into it. This unit is supior to the m8800 I had before.
Excerpt: "Well i bought my sony headunit about 8 moths ago now.I got it second hand from a friend and paid £50 for it. It was really easy to fit and install and that was with upgraded speakers and a sub.And since its got aux on it aswell i even managed to wire up my dvd player and screen thougth it.Which sounds great when parked up watching a film. Had a couple of sony headunits over the last few years and this one is by far the best one that i,ve had. What ...
Excerpt: "I bought this head unit about a year and a half ago (I paid about 250 for it) and it has been fantastic up till now. I have this head unit installed in my Renault Clio, this was a very easy task as it uses ISO connectors so plugged straight in (adaptors may be required for other cars) I also bought an adaptor cable for the head unit so that I could use my original steering wheel remote on the head unit which is perfect for changing the volume, track ...
Pros: great sound, lots of fuctions, motorised front panel
Cons: no face off for security, ribbon cable is a weakness
Excerpt: "If you choose to buy this model i promise you will not regret it. Go on buy it. Pros: For a start it looks pretty cool, but even more important the sound is the best ive heard so far even on the speakers that come with the fiesta and finally it picks up all sorts of radio stations even ones from other cities that ive never picked up before
Cons: The only disadvantage i have noticed is that you have to either seek through radio stations on the device or use the remote (which is not a great idea while driving), rather than having number presets for your fave radio stations on the device !
Excerpt: "...very poor compared to this Sony one I replaced it with, especially when using all 8 of the original speakers fitted to the car. It sounds great and operates well at all times, receives all radio stations with strong signals and clarity using the original car aerial fitted in the glass, RDS worked well at all times, and all features do what they should, although maybe I havent used all of them yet, as rather a lot to go through.. It looks very ...
Pros: Remote control for operating from rear of MPV, Sounds great with all 8 original speakers, especially compared to OE Ford one .
Cons: My personal point of view I havent found any
