Summary: I've had this stereo in my car for about four years now and for the price that I paid, I feel like it was a great purchase. When I bought it I was using an ipod to listen to my music and that worked great on it. Then I switched to android and it doesn't play the music through the USB without mounting it as a drive, but that's not a huge deal for me because I can just play it through the aux.
Summary: I bought this for a used truck in 2009, and used it up until I traded it in late 2012. It had good USB and aux inputs and played MP3 discs well. Never had an issue with it in 80,000 miles of use.
Sound is great, easy to install, Ipod works great with it too

Summary: The title says it all. I really like this radio. Was able to install it myself. The connection for the ipod is great, and sorting through playlists is easy. Sorting through artists and other songs could be easier i'm sure, but that is a minor quibble and not enough to lower the quality (and therefore the rating) of this deck.
Summary: Okay so this head unit was wonderful for the first year i used it; now the screen letters get jumbled, it will stop working randomly, iPods don't read anymore and the volume knob will not work. I will not go with Sony anymore unfortunately.
Summary: This is a very good deck for the price. It has 3 preouts for hooking up front, rear and subs to an amp. The front USB is awesome, along with an AUX port. The only thing I don't like would maybe be how you can't fully navigate your Ipod with the remote like I could with my pioneer deck.
Summary: beautiful item. good sound. didn't get a owners manual and still haven't found a way to ADJUST the clock. just figured out how to keep the clock displayed even if the radio is off. I know if I can figure out these problems, it will be a great product just as the past Sony items I have had.
Summary: Ok... I've had this unit for a while now and must confess, I'm happy with it. I purchased it primarily for the USB input being in the front as I have a ton of thumb drives and it just made sense. I gave it four stars as I'm not extremely fond of the navigation buttons or button layout in general. They are really close in proximity and at times, I find myself "zapping" from track to track instead of advancing to the next, etc.
Summary: Yes, The title had to say it. Sony has been known to make some really, really horrible stuff simply to fill the shelves of local electronic stores. I have had my fair share of those bad products as well. But, this head unit is one of there better products. It is a solid, basic head unit with a lot of flexibility. This item was purchased for my girlfriend and installed in her car. As always, Sonys wiring colors are consistent and accurate with industry standards.
Summary: This review is a bit tricky. This stereo has a great look to it, but it also has it's draw backs. The Good news: > Intall is a snap, well the first time... > Multiple configurations, Lows, Mids and Highs. > Sub inputs are easy to integrate > One of the few with Ipod and USB ! > Sound quality is outstanding! The bad news: > It went out several times after installing. We found that the wiring harness does not lock into the back of the unit. NICE SONY really NICE!
