Summary: I love the fact that it gives you so many options to listen to your music, I no longer have to carry a bunch of CDs in my car. It is very easy to use, it took me 20 min. to learn all all the basic functions...
Summary: I had this same stereo before my car got stollen and it sounded just as good if not better than any of the expensive ones I know. I am putting together a new setup, but using the same deck that I had before because I know it well.
Summary: I installed this head in my H1 HUMMER. I removed the old Monsoon head, rewired the connector and I was off listening to music. I have my wife's old Sony Ipod and I use the USB connection with it. I could have used the wire provided but it seemed cleaner to do it with the USB. I had no problems and I can't say I am very savy with the new electronic things.
Summary: I purchased one of these with an expectation of quality due to the Sony name, but within 2 months it ceased to function properly, failing to eject CDs. Sony replaced it with another, which also failed in 2 months. Sony replaced it with a third, which also failed in 2 months. Now Sony says it's out of warranty and refuses to provide a different model unless I help to pay for it, offering only to provide a 4th unit of the same kind.
Summary: A couple years ago I bought another CDX-GT deck, I dont remember the specific model number, but I brought it with me through 1 car and 2 trucks, and finally decided it was time to upgrade to the next generation. I went from having 1 aux in on the face plate, I started seeing different head units with ipod connectors/usb ports, but Sony Car Audio really brought it home with the GT610Ui.
Summary: A car stereo with HD/satallite ready capability, Hardwired iPod connectivity, MP3/Audio CD player, USB adaptor, and other Auxiliary input and output, it totally beats other products with the same features for the price. This product might need a little modifications though on some cars, for example the Ford Mustang GT Convertible.
Summary: I purchased this head unit after being recommended to it by a co-worker. It's a great little unit to hook just about any device up to it. I did have one slight problem with it though. The iPod dock connector on my unit managed to get a break near the dongle in the wire that carried the sound for the right side of the stereo separation. It was intermittent and would cut in and out as the iPod shifted around in my glove box.
Summary: I bought 2 Sony CD Receivers, one for myself and one for my sister. I must say I am satisfied with the quality so far. I have three choices of how I can play my music. Ipod, CD slot & USB port. I love it. The remote is quite handy as well, especially if you want to keep your eyes on the road when skipping sounds. I upgraded my current speakers and the sound is amazing. 2 x 120W Woofers in the back and 2 x 65W 3-Way in the front.
Click on it anyway, I'm sure someone is selling it through Amazon

Summary: This is just one of the few ATRAC CD players still available for purchase. Get it before it's gone forever. ATRAC: A technology that has revolutionized the way we listen to music. Just like the "electric car" was taken away because it was a threat to the oil industry, Sony's ATRAC CD burning program has been discontinued probably because the music industry doesn't want too see an artists entire music repertoire burned onto one CDR.
