Summary: Overall I'm satisfied with this stereo. It was easy to install once I purchased the adapter wiring harness. It was basically "plug and play". It just wasn't clear to me that I had to buy a wiring harness when I originally bought the stereo due to my stock JBl system already in my truck. It's just like any new device, you have to spend some time with it and you will get used to using it. It looks and sounds great in my truck!
Pros: Easy to install, looks cool, remote control
Cons: Directions were not very good for installation, pandora function controlled through the stereo
Summary: This radio was easy to install and sounds great in my 2002 Chevy Trailblazer. The sound quality is much better than I expeced and the equalizer has many settings to either use a set setting or custom settings. It seems a bit confusing to set up at first but then after a quick learning curve, it is easy.
Pros: Sounds great, price and easy to install
Cons: Although it is Sirius/XM ready, you still have to buy a receiver to get the Sirius/XM stations which means I would have to remove it and install it again. Not willing to do that.
Summary: I liked this stereo very well. I was concerned that it might be hard for me to remember how to use the various features/settings but I picked it up well and it was fairly easy to grasp. I like how you can customize the color display to match your car as well.
Summary: Very nice stereo. This is the second Sony car stereo I've bought through Crutchfield. You will need the manual to get it set up properly. I used this one to replace a factory original stereo (that had all but died) in my wife's Chrysler Town and Country. The sound is great and my wife loves it.
Pros: Well made. Nice display. USB port on the front is really handy.
Cons: For older eyes, the print on the front is hard to read easily and without the manual, you probably won't make full use of all of its features.
Summary: Alright I'm into big bass and low frequencies this radio did kick with my stock system but the second I put my two Rockford Fosgate P2's in the mix it would clip and shut off, I managed to fix a way around it in the EQ but this was only a temporary fix because now I'm have the clipping problem more often. So all in all nice deck of stock speakers not for a subwoofer set up.
Summary: been years since I have replaced a factory stereo and I was amazed at how much better the technology has become and for much less the cost. String receiver and both USB and AUX front inputs make hooking up any iPod or iPhone a cinch. controlling your mobile device from the display is a little tricky at first but once you figure out how to o it its not that hard. Overall very please with the quality, sound, and most of all cost of this stereo.
Pros: easy install, customizable, front USB/AUX inputs, strong FM receiver
Cons: tricky navigation of mobile device from head unit
