Summary: this cd/mp3 player doesnt come with all the options listed it does not have 3 sets of pre amp outputs and no 3.5mm input you also cannot browse your music by folder only by track so it takes a while to find a praticular song
Summary: Replaced an old Blaupunkt cassette unit with this one mainly because of the USB function. On paper this unit sounds outstanding - MP3 with ID3 tag display, USB input, 200 watts, etc... Unfortunately I have not had much luck in getting the usb port to read any mp3 files from any flash media (have tried 5 different brands now). Of note is that it does recognize the usb media being connected but is unable to recognize the MP3 files on it.
Summary: I recently purchased this car stereo and have been 99.99% happy with the product. The fact that it accepts USB flash memory is fantastic, and a great way to keep your music selection in the car fresh, without having to burn a new cd every time you want new music. The only thing is the USB stick format - it must be FAT32 to get the full capacity of the stick (I use a 1gb Sandisk stick), and to work in the stereo.
Summary: The unit never worked out of the box... MP3 files played from CD or USB flash drives skipped continually. Pyle replaced the unit with another identical unit with the same identical problem. Pile then replaced the unit with another similar model. This unit also skips MP3s when played from CD. The USB works marginally better, but still encounters issues. Do yourself a favor, be kind to your ears and your wallet... DO NOT PURCHASE ANYTHING FROM PYLE AUDIO!!!
Summary: I've only had this player for a week now, so forgive me if I have yet to detect any problems. First of all, unlike other folks out there, I've not experience any cd skipping while driving or parked. I've also been able to get my U3 memory stick to play music with it. Interestingly enough I plugged my Ipod nano into it(was curious) and was able to play BBC podcast 'Digital Planet' and some other tech shows on it. I was pleasantly surprised about that one.
Summary: Have had this stereo for a couple weeks now & am fairly happy with it. Though I'm no prof. audiofile, I think the sound quality is great. I love the USB option & it seems to work perfectly so far, as does the radio & CD player(no skips so far). There don't seem to be very many stereos out there that boast this USB port feature & I don't know why not.
Summary: Got this unit because this was the one of the few with an USB port. I figured with the convenience of USB flash memory it might just be the best way to store, transport and play music than any other digital media out there. The USB port works as specified provided it is formatted as FAT and not as NTFS. However the type of formatting is not specified in the manual.
Summary: It has a nice sleek design and pretty colors. Radio works great, but the USB is faulty, and that's the main reason I got it. There are so many other features though that make it worth having, so it's still worth having.
Summary: Gave the unit 1 star because zero is not an option, wish I would have read the reviews before buying. Looks pretty but it is junk. Will not read all MP3 formats, but you don't know that until you read the owner's manual and it TELLS you it won't. My sandisc 4gb unit plugs and plays in everything but this unit.
