Summary: (sorry for my bad english) When I found this model in the internet I thought that it was a marvelous car stereo, but the reality was so different. Since that I finished the installation, the technician said me that this models of "appradios" has many issues and in fact, thus it was. I has this radio 3 weeks and until this day I cant sync with my iPhone 4, simply it's impossible.
Summary: The Appradio DA01 & 02 has an incompatiblity issue with the iOS7 software update for the Apple iPhone. After emails and phone calls with Pioneer, they are still looking into it and have NO ETA on a software patch! I'm without a usable unit in my car and they will not do anything to support me or any other customer. *****DO NOT BUY THIS RADIO!**** Plus, there a ton of issues with the interface.
Summary: Pioneer should try to keep the quality of apple products quanse proposes to manufacture products to the same customers of the brand. Incompatible with new models of the iPhone, has no quality tap the touch screen is very slow in handling. Bad deal!
Summary: You get what you pay for. The sleek look without the cost. I bought this radio to replace my still working kenwood because it wouldn't play my iTunes Match, this radio did. Interface is a little buggy, but works most of the time. It isn't what I'd call "true" touch screen cause you still have to navigate lists with touch buttons, but cannot directly select what you want on screen without scrolling through.
Summary: Not sure if the seller is a fly by night but I have had and continue to have serious problems with this unit. On the several occasions I have contacted this seller, he was rude and not helpful at all!!! I am now stuck with a product that does not function properly and the seller has done nothing. In theory the unit would be fantastic but it does not. Not sure if he is a true Pioneer reseller, I would bet NOT!
Summary: I don't like aftermarket units as it is because they look ugly and out of place - with it's piano finish and dance club lighting - in current automobile dashboards. I picked the AppRadio because it's simple and is the least ugly looking unit out there - it's almost just a plain screen. But that's the only positive I can say about it. Pioneer and it's AppRadio is by far the worst experience I've had with an audio company and it's aftermarket unit.
Summary: Way too many glitches and just the worst customer service. You can't make a stereo that only works with an iPhone when you know they come out with one every every year because it will not work with the new iPhone at all.
Summary: This radio is the worst incarnation of a car stereo I have ever had! First of all they lock it down so tight that you have to do everyhting just right or you'll be driving down the road with no music! It's actually more distracting going through the BS to get to use it than it is actually using it. The interface is just not friendly at all and the apps they are creating are trying to skirt the interface and make it useable but you just cant polish a turd.
Summary: No joke!!! I should read more in details when I got this radio. Don't get me wrong, it has some good stuff but the down side or cons has more weight than the pros. I won't go explain them, just read the other post. But what I REALLY hate now that the iPhone 5 come out, we all stuck with a unit that we won't be able to use to its full if you get the new phone.
Summary: I ordered the Appradio 1 from them and when I had it installed the software wasn't up to date so I had to go spend $20 to buy an SD card, find a computer with a SD card slot in it and upload the software to the radio. On top of that, the cable connecting the Appradio to my Iphone did not work, so now I have to find a rare cable and spend more money on top of what I've already paid.
