Summary: Fit great, sounds great, Bluetooth is seamless. The only downside is that like most android users I have a Galaxy series phone. They do not work other than through Bluetooth. So that means NO Mix, not usb connection, no accessing library from the unit. It requires two extra parts, one from samsung and one from sony just to get it to work through USB.
Summary: Bought this to finish off my audio build and I couldn't be happier. Between the price, functionality, and sound quality it couldn't be better. MIXTRAX is kinda a joke and you cannot plug in an android phone and have it recognize the songs, but you can Bluetooth off it. Sound quality is awesome due to the 24 bit DAC and has HD Radio without the need for an adapter which is better than XM/Sirius IMO.
Summary: I love the Pandora compatability. The unit sounds good and has a lot of features for the price. The navigation of files on a usb drive could use a bit of work as it is a little clunky and not as good as on the pioneer unit I have in another car (it is a touchscreen dvd unit) The screen is a tad hard to read and can be a bit cluttered.
Summary: Bluetooth works great, you have to locate the mic on visor for best results. Radio has too many functions. Hard to get to what you want to get to. Complicated menu system. Sometimes when you turn volume you are turning menu. Drives you crazy. Not designed for multiple devices. Tried to use phone and ipad. It can pair them both but uses them both as music then, To pair phone calls it has to be the only device paired.
Summary: I can see the display on sunny days. That is rare. The only difficulty is that the controls are not intuitive. I am in my 60s so the abreviations for control functions are not in my normal vocabulary. I would like to be able to control the colors on the display and have yet to figure it out. In defence oif the head unit, I installed it in my Miata, drive it on nice days or race days only and live in the north so it rests in my garage from November until April.
Summary: Blue tooth service works great. The only difficulty I have is it displays icon for a selected function and not LARGE type. Therefore, I have to focus on the display to select the function I want - radio - Blue tooth - aux - CD. I would rather have words that are easy to read. Also, it would be nice to have the time displayed in large letters so it is easy to see while driving. I like the phone button in the top right. Radio searches are easy and it pulls a good signal.
Summary: Not perfect, but almost there. We've had some frustration with bluetooth pairing. If you drive like my wife and I do, often in pairs, and both have phones that should auto-sync, there can sometimes be issues. If you are usually driving by yourself, there is not a problem. Aux input works great, as expected, cd player is fine, and usb is great.
Summary: This unit is loaded with features that are not present in other stereos in its price range. The full-dot display is beautiful. The handsfree bluetooth calling is intuitive, and works well. Some people have told me that I sound the slightest bit fuzzy when I am talking on the handsfree, but I'm not sure if that has to do with my phone, the placement of my mic, or the stereo itself.
