Summary: Great sound, especially for the price. The only complaint I have is that it takes a little too much effort to change the tone (EQ, Bass Boost, etc.) Would be nice to have a quick way to toggle between a couple of favorite settings. There is a lot to play with on this unit to shape the sound exactly the way you want it.
Summary: I've owned several of these color changing pioneer decks, non bluetooth model seems best, the bluetooth mics cant understand you when you tell siri or zygi (depending if you have iphone or windows phone) to do something or when speaking on the phone, just stick with usb model like this one imo. It works best. Wireless technology is still too buggy and primitive.
Summary: I would never return the radio but I ordered a ferry for my 2013 Harley Davidson fat boy and did it was the wrong thing and I had a lot of trouble sending it back I ordered a lot of items but the ferry for my fat boy was supposed to be painted gel black it was primer and I had to return all of my items at I got for it
Summary: Lost my factory radio on and old beater I use for work... This price got me HD, an AUX jack and a USB port. I loaded up a thumb drive and jammed it in the slot and now I have music I like all the time without commercials... oh yeah, the mixtrax thing is cute for 20-25 seconds or if you are an infant with a rash and respond to distraction...
Summary: I purchased this stereo as a replacement to go in a 1999 Chevrolet Silverado because the original equipment quit playing CDs. I replaced the factory speakers a few years back with some Polk Audio Marine grade speakers. They sound really well with a good aftermarket stereo system. Pioneer has always made great stereo systems in my opinion. They seem to have the best reception, and really great quality sound.
Summary: has great fm reception and i use xm also a an aux input for it. Has easy to use front panel and great choice of colors for display and background, HD fm channels are very nice when you can get them, only seem to get them in or near big citys, nothing in the country yet, but you can notice a difference when you are on a HD station. Haven't played cd's in it yet, just like my xm mostly.
Summary: This is a great player/receiver. Its only drawback is that its menu seems complicated at first but as you delve into it, it becomes fairly logical. The HD radio reception is superb and the playback via iPod and flash drive is excellent and convenient.
